Jojo Rabbit

“Jojo Rabbit” is probably my least favourite of the major Taika Waititi films (“Thor Ragnarok”, “Hunt For The Wilderpeople”, “What We Do In The Shadows”), but it’s still a very funny, very good movie. Taika has made a habit of releasing nothing but bangers, so it’s stiff competition when it comes to ranking them, and I would say “Jojo” is near the bottom.

The plot is completely unexpected if you’ve heard nothing about it beforehand. This is one of the “go in fresh with no details” type of films. Taika himself plays a great role that could maybe even be described as the true villain of the film. He was a real highlight for me. The whole cast is excellent to be honest. Another major standout is Sam Rockwell (but when isn’t he?).

Go in with no details and an open mind and you’ll surely have a good time.
