Dolemite Is My Name

Considering this is the second good movie made about a real life bad movie, I’m totally onboard with this trend (the other film being “The Disaster Artist”). This movie is good. Awesome cast and soundtrack, and Eddie Murphy is phenomenal after taking years away from acting.

Although very good, it never quite reaches the perfect tone “The Disaster Artist” does. And throughout it’s runtime I found myself more curious about the real life “Dolemite” than I was about the fictional interpretation.
